Nkumba University in partnership with FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences together with other six partner universities applied for mobility funds within ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility for academic exchange activities. The application was approved for funding and in particular for Nkumba University, the ERASMUS national agency approved to provide financial means for the following exchange activities within the field of Architecture or related areas:

·         Two students from Nkumba University, Uganda to FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, Austria for writing their Master thesis/doing project work

·         One student from Austria to Nkumba University, Uganda

·         One teacher from Austria to Nkumba University, Uganda

·         One staff member from Nkumba University to FH Joanneum University of Applied  Sciences, Austria

The Project will cover stipends and return air tickets (economy).

The Nkumba University exchange students and staff will be from the School of Commercial Industrial Art and Design (SCIAD) coordinated by the Director School of Postgraduate Studies and Research Assoc. Prof. Robert Byamukama assisted by the Dean SCIAD, Assoc. Prof. Andrew Yiga.

The team at University of FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, Austria is led by Dr. Tanjer Psonder of the School of Architecture and the administrative issues will be taken care of by Ms. Anita Galler, International relations officer.
