We therefore, produce graduates who are creative, innovative and entrepreneur in nature ready to lead the world. Putting this in perspective, this means that other than equipping students with outstanding academic skills and competencies, we purposefully influence character development, ethical being and integrity of heart which are very critical for today’s world that requires sincere, truthful and competent work force. We are confident that the foundation we provide to our graduates presents immerse opportunities which distinguishes them from others within the society.

NU is tapping into technology to enhance the on and off campus experience. Through our expertise in e-learning, NU is taking education to the remote and most deprived regions of the country and the rest of the world. Our richly developed e-resources are improving how ubiquitous education is being offered to all our distance students. NU believes that blended learning is the way to go for the on-campus experience and hence its adoption in all its campuses. NU will continue to develop more distance programmes in order to benefit the remote and deprived communities, not to mention thousands of people in displaced and war-torn areas, many of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity for a NU experience.

The outstanding teaching, scholarships, research, innovation, support, flexibility and choice in programs, and extra-curricular within NU creates a transformational student experience. We have several of our students that have joined national and international sports teams and hence adding more good reputation to the University. I am very confident that NU people of today and tomorrow will add to this reputation in the future.

To date, NU has graduated over 25,000 inspiring alumni at different levels (certificate, Bachelors, Master and PhD). NU alumni make up a community of notable people within the country and the region which is something we are very proud of. When you consider the extraordinary range, diversity and achievements of our distinguished alumni, there is no doubt that Nkumba University is all about creating transformative change of the society and world at large.
