Nkumba, Uganda – Nkumba University welcomed its latest batch of incoming students with a spirited and informative orientation week that took place from August 7th to August 12th, 2023. The week-long event was designed to provide new students with an immersive introduction to university life, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into their higher education journey.
The week-long event was a bustling affair, with a diverse range of activities aimed at fostering a sense of belonging and facilitating connections among the new students. From the very first day, the campus was alive with energy and excitement as participants engaged in a variety of workshops, seminars, and social gatherings.
“Orientation week is a pivotal moment for our incoming students,” said Mr. Kimuli Chris , Dean of Students at Nkumba University. “It’s a time when they can familiarize themselves with the campus, get to know their fellow students, and learn about the multitude of opportunities that await them here.”
