COVID19 Vaccination ExerciseHakim Mulinde
There shall be a COVID19 Vaccination Exercise at Nkumba University main campus in Entebbe starting on Wednesday, 5 th May 2021. Students and staff are also informed that there will be a second dose forthose who have their jabs taken on the day. This exercise shall be overseen by the Nkumba University
Task Force led by Prof. Miph Musoke.
Members of the university community are requested to take part in this exercise to help prevent contracting the deadly Corona virus. In a world where countries like Canada have daily death tolls that exceed 1000, it is only prudent for one to take the necessary precaution. The United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Italy have all announced new lock-downs following the third COVID19 wave. Many countries have since reported that is more deadly than the first two.
“History tells us that like the Spanish Flu of 1917 – 1919, the third wave is more dangerous than the first and second waves. You are therefore requested to take all the necessary preventive measures such as correct wearing of face masks, practicing social distancing, hand washing or use of sanitizers etc. ,” Prof. Miph Musoke, Chairperson – Nkumba University Task Force
