CALL FOR PAPERS
1st NKUMBA INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE (NIRC’2021) –Entebbe, Uganda 28 -29 NOVEMBER 2021

This Conference is the 1st in the NIRC annual series with a focus on the Theme: “NURTURING AN EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH CULTURE IN THE 4th INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION HIGHER INSTITUTIONS OF LEARNING”
NIRC’2021 aims to provide a distinctive environment where authors, practitioners, researchers, professionals and academicians from Science, Technology, Education, Art and Law (STEAL) on how 4IR technologies are influencing service provision across different sectors.
The conference will have a research colloquium, an exhibition and paper presentations from both local and international participants. The three days will have paper, panel and practitioner sessions addressing topics of interest. The sub themes for the conference will include the following:

NIRC 2021 welcomes participants from academia, industry, NGOs, development agencies, and governmental and international organizations plus researchers within the field of Science, Technology, Education, Art and Law (STEAL).Papers will be submitted through two options:
Research papers: this is the first option and will be required to have 8-12 pages including references.
Practitioner Papers: this is the second option which is open to practitioners to present their experiences, cases and policies and will have 6-8 pages.
All accepted papers will be published as book chapters in the conference proceedings with an ISBN.
Inclusion of accepted papers in the conference proceedings will be tagged on payment of registration fee prior to registration deadline.
