The courses in this programme are planned to give a balanced selection of academic and experimental education. Through the planned sequence of courses, preparation is provided to encourage each student to achieve maximum professional competence through emphasis on: i) a thorough background in knowledge of persons, problems and interventions models; ii) mastery of skills and techniques of counseling; iii) personal development of oneself as part of the counseling process-increasing motivation for self-awareness and self- improvement, and increasing commitment in helping others to achieve fuller self-realization.
