As a seasoned lecturer with 18years experience in accounting and finance and vast experience in administration, Irene has excellent knowledge in the sphere of accounting and enviable tactical approach to management.

Research workshop in Nkumba University- Methodology

 

Nabutsale Irene Racheal heads the department of Accounting and Finance. She is a lecturer, and holds a Master of Science degree in accounting and finance on top of a Bachelor of business administration degree, both obtained from Nkumba University. Additionally, Irene has training from the institute of public accountants of Uganda, and holds a certificate in Navision financials from Carl Bro East Africa. She has been teaching for 18 years, and her scholarly and professional work has solid grounding in accounting and finance. Prior to employment at Nkumba University, she worked with Mbale district Local government, and taught at Kumi University. She was a member of both audit and distance learning committees at Nkumba University for over 5 years.
