Master Of Arts In Security And Strategic Studies

The M.A. Security and Strategic Studies is a two (2) year Programme designed to offer graduates knowledge and skills necessary to understand and deal with security and strategy issues from an inter- disciplinary perspective. The programme explores security and strategic concerns at local, regional and international levels. The candidates conduct research in their last semester and are expected to complete a total of 17 taught courses

  1. Intelligence Analyst: An intelligence analyst collects and analyzes information to identify security threats and risks. Intelligence analysts work in a variety of industries, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private companies. Graduates with a Master of Arts in Security and Strategic Studies can become an intelligence analyst by obtaining a job with organizations such as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA), or other intelligence agencies.
  2. Security Consultant: A security consultant works with organizations to identify and address security risks, including physical and cyber threats. Security consultants may work for consulting firms or as independent contractors.
