Mag. Birgit Hernády is the head of the International Office at FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, in Graz Austria. She studied English and combined studies including German as a foreign Language, International Business and Law in Graz and Oxford. Birgit has extensive experience in teaching German as a Foreign Language in Austria and abroad, and is assessor of the Austrian German Language Diploma (ÖSD). She visited Nkumba University on an Erasmus+ job shadowing program, where her interaction with Nkumba University management significantly impacted on the Internationalisation of the institution.
