Julian Namboozo is an accomplished professional in Library and Information Science with a robust academic and practical background. She earned her degree from Makerere University, where she specialized in Library and Information Science and has acquired a range of certifications, including Koha, MS Office, Data Presentation using graphs, and Monitoring and Evaluation of Electronic Resources Use-INASIP (MEERU), Marketing and Advocacy, Resource Management Systems, Project Management. Julian has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing library services and digital literacy.
Her undergraduate dissertation, “Assessing Service Delivery in Nkumba University,” showcased her analytical skills and dedication to improving library services. Currently, she is completing her Master’s dissertation at Makerere University, focusing on “Developing Digital Literacy Skills of Postgraduate Students: A Case of Nkumba University. In her role as an Assistant Librarian in the Library Department, Julian applies her extensive knowledge and skills to enhance library operations, support academic research, and promote digital literacy among students and faculty.
