Dr. Wolfgang Schmied studied architecture, technical environmental protection and philosophy. He is the head of the Masters program in Architecture at FH Joanneum UAS and since 1995 he has worked nationally and internationally as a civil engineer. From 2015 to 2020, he was the head of the Institute for Architecture and Management at the FH Joanneum.
Wolfgang was a visiting lecturer at Nkumba University under the Erasmus+ International staff mobility program. He presented lectures on Construction Design to a cross-section of Bachelors and Masters students at SCIAD.
His work has been published widely and presented at exhibitions to accompany his scientific and architectural career.
