Nkumba University Announces Annual PhD Research Conference: Call for Papers
Nkumba University is excited to announce the upcoming Annual PhD Research Conference under the theme “Ideas in Action: Translating Research into Real World Impact.” This prestigious event invites PhD candidates and researchers to submit papers that showcase innovative research and its potential to create real-world change.
Conference Objective

Guidelines for Submission
Extended Abstract Requirements
Researchers are invited to submit an extended abstract of 1000 to 1500 words, which will serve as a brief yet comprehensive overview of their paper. This abstract is vital for initial review and potential inclusion in the official conference programme booklet.
The abstract should follow this structure:

Title of the Paper
The title must be concise, informative, and relevant to the content of the paper. A well-crafted title will engage interest and help potential attendees quickly grasp the paper’s theme and importance.
Structure of the Extended Abstract
1. Introduction
This section should offer background information and justify the need for the study. It should also clearly state the research questions and objectives, guiding the entire research focus.
2. Literature Review
Here, researchers should discuss existing studies relevant to their topic, identify gaps in knowledge, and explain how their research aims to address these gaps.
3. Methodology
This section should detail the study design, data collection methods, tools used, and any ethical considerations. It should be concise yet thorough enough to demonstrate the validity and reliability of the study.
4. Results/Findings
Authors should interpret and discuss their findings using relevant data presentations such as tables, charts, and quotations. This section should include comparisons with existing literature and theoretical implications.
