Nkumba University volleyball teams met with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jude Lubega, and the University Secretary, Mr. Francis Ssengendo, to celebrate a successful season and discuss the way forward.
The closed-door meeting, which took place at the Vice Chancellor’s Boardroom, was led by the University Sports Tutor, Mr. Joseph Muyiira, who presented a comprehensive wrap-up of the just-concluded volleyball league. Mr. Muyiira intimated that the boys’ volleyball team dominated the season, winning every single match in both legs of the league, only to lose in the final game. With all the triumph, challenges such as inadequate equipment and poor playing grounds still loom.
