Amos Ronald Kalukusu

Amos Ronald Kalukusu is a Ugandan, 33 years of age and living a health lifestyle. He scored a First Class in his undergraduate studies of Environmental Sciences and mastered in Environmental Health Science as his major. He is also a PhD scholar at the Unicaf University of Zambia. Immediately after his undergraduate studies, Nkumba University, called upon him to work as an Assistant Lecturer in 2011 due to his excellent academic performance, hence making him the youngest academic lecturer at the age of 25 then.

He has participated in university funded research project titled ” A study towards realizing an environmental health policy for Nkumba university, working with associate professor Miph Musoke who was the principle investigator.

Staff Supervision

Mr. Kalukusu Amos Ronald gained relevant experience in the field of research and this cajoled the School Dean of his faculty to trust him at supervising research students at undergraduate level where he has so far guided more that 30 academic research students to graduation

Presentations

  •  He has recently presented a research paper titled “the role of the environmental protection police unit in the of protection of wetlands: a case study of Kajansi Peri-urban areas in Uganda, at the international conference on global warming and climate change in Bangkok Thailand.
  •  Amos Ronald Kalukusu has attended and presented a number of academic papers at international conferences on environmental issues most especially climate change and has been consistently engaged in research. Among the key conferences attended include the International Conference on Global Warming and Climate Change which took place in Bangkok, Thailand between 4th and 5th October 2018 and the Rufford Small Grants Africa Networking Conference in Malawi, which took place between 11th and 13th July 2019.
