Agnes Zawedde is a Library professional who is self-driven and motivated. Skilled at providing excellent public service to students and staff, managing the library’s resource collections, and providing research assistance to library clientele.
She is currently the Assistant Librarian in charge of the Nkumba University library- Kampala Campus with the ability to effectively work with students and staff of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. Zawedde has honed the art of incorporating new and emerging technologies and delivery systems in meeting the ever-changing library resources needs.
She previously served in the Nkumba University main library as Assistant Librarian in charge of public service and also served as Assistant Librarian in charge of technical section. She was secretary to the library committee and on several occasions acted as University Librarian when the Librarian was on leave.
